If you want your corner edges to look nice and square like this:
Then before you flip it through like this:
You need to clip out your corners like this:
If you don't clip out the excess fabric on a corner it is just too bulky to get a flat, sharp edge.
Good tip. Wow! you really trim it close too!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to tell, but if you look really closely to the last picture you'll see that I trimmed it really close to the stay-stitching and not the finished stitch.
