It looks like it with your checkered pattern. When I do that there´s so much bulkiness underneath the arms and also in the middle of the chest area. So now I have the elastic in a very curvy line. I'm sure the odds of you actually seein...Hello,<br />I'm sure the odds of you actually seeing this comment years later are slim... but do you think that one could get away with only doing the tie and not the elastic? I'm pregnant, so I would tie above my bump. My machine's widest zig zag doesn't go over the top of my 1/4" elastic and I'm not sure I'm quite skilled enough to add a casing.<br /><br />Thanks very much for this tutorial.
