I've never done a tutorial on that. But you basically cut a similar sleeve pattern, but make the bottom of the shirt cuff the bottom of your sleeve (you have to tweek the sleeve a bit though b/c there are slits on the cuffs where the buttons adjust). Also, I moved one of the buttons over to make the cuff tighter, to fit better around a little girl's arm.
Here's what it looks like:
http://dana-made-it.blogspot.com/2009/04/madame-librarian.htmldanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13047910693271897791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327402053924293545.post-20117686058144702892009-05-24T18:45:10.709-05:002009-05-24T18:45:10.709-05:00dont be so hard on yourself. it looks good. i ca...dont be so hard on yourself. it looks good. i can't beleive you are trying to work with stretch fabrics. they are a nightmare.Kelli Wardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03250723048820943765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327402053924293545.post-51269352408808221512009-05-24T18:42:33.329-05:002009-05-24T18:42:33.329-05:00I think it came out darling! Making our own makes things a little tricky, doesn't it?! It really did come out cute.Lesliehttp://curlycrafter.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327402053924293545.post-11178545901155033112009-05-24T18:15:46.017-05:002009-05-24T18:15:46.017-05:00Keep dreaming and then jump right in! if there is...Keep dreaming and then jump right in! if there is something you want to try there is nothing better than just giving it a shot. Take it from a bona fide wimp; guess and check isn't so bad...and like you said, most of the time things will come out better than you think and you'll feel that much more proud of yourself!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16545973114267745203noreply@blogger.com
