Wha...add me to the "some day, too" list. What a wonderful space, though I also have fond memories of my sewing machine set up on the corner of the dining room table, stereo behind me, blasting out Beatles and Rolling Stones while I made babydoll style dresses and bell-bottom pants. guess I'm showing my age... And since I inherited that table from my mom's house, I'm still cutting fabric out on it!San-Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17847128830354155827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327402053924293545.post-82936354026398166462009-06-13T06:38:20.287-05:002009-06-13T06:38:20.287-05:00Oooh. I DID, however, also grow up knowing the importance of being able to create beautiful garments and am grateful to you guys for creating this blog and "sisterhood of sewers" (sorry for any men who may be doing this, too!) to encourage and come up with ideas for projects.Boyd Boxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18137908536538797383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327402053924293545.post-27223610974811501242009-06-13T01:39:00.683-05:002009-06-13T01:39:00.683-05:00I grew up in GA, lived in a few southern states si...I grew up in GA, lived in a few southern states since, and settled into a new AL home a few weeks ago (for at least a few years anyway). That's beside the point though, my mother never had a sewing room, or machine for that matter, but when I visit it definitely becomes something like a shopping trip. I always leave with more than I came with!Laurenhttp://bananasforbreakfast.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327402053924293545.post-3366964413095742522009-06-13T00:26:01.436-05:002009-06-13T00:26:01.436-05:00I love to see other people's sewing rooms.
