white summer linen

My dress is finished! And it was the perfect wardrobe for our afternoon outing.
I started with a men's white linen shirt, mixed up the original dress pattern a bit, and added new buttons. For more info and details, please hop over to MADE. Can't wait to see what you all come up with! We still have 1/2 a month left. Maybe I have one more up my sleeve....?

  1. Oohhh, nice!

I like the idea of the tie-and it's sleeveless! And the buttons are lovely. I heart buttons.

PS I will be completing another shirt dress (I hope) in time to post a link. Stay tuned-this time I will remember the seam allowances!

  3. aww, love the gathered straps and the white fabric. perfect for warm weather. I was thinking about doing this project but I just don't have any little girls around to make a dress for. Oh, well. It's still nice to see everyone's designs.
