We will start sewing our dress on Tuesday - after the holiday weekend - but until then I wanted to redirect you to this amazing tutorial I read today on Sew Mama Sew by Meg McElwee of Sew Liberated on sewing with knits. I feel like I just learned so much (and just in time).Has anyone else sewn with wooly nylon thread? I'm wondering if I should try it out with this project.
Never heard of the stuff - wonder how hard it is to come by. I guess I need to do a little shopping!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have used it before - its great. Hand winding the bobbin is a bit of extra work, but worth it.

Is everybody ok? Are we still starting the Cynthia Rowley dress?
