The giveaway includes:
1 yard of home decor weight floral print for the outside of the bag
1 yard of cotton broadcloth in marigold for the lining.
As a reminder this is how our giveaway works:
What presserfoot will do:
- we will provide you with next month's pattern (unless it's free)
- we will provide you with some awesome fabric to make the pattern
- we will do a short feature on our blog about you and your blog (if you have one)
- we ask that you make the pattern in the month given with the fabric
- we ask that you be an author on our blog for that month and make at least 4 posts during the month about your experience making the pattern.
- you will need to get your own notions, interfacing etc...
Looks like fun! Count me in.
ReplyDeleteI would love to make this bag again, with some minor changes! I have the pattern and have made it once. I will make it a little larger with more pockets. Love the shape of the bag so I won't be touching that! Love your blog, keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteI am dying to try out that bag pattern.
ReplyDeletePlus, BLACK AND YELLOW! HELLO!
Around here, January has been deemed The Worst Month of the Year (at least in my book!), so working some nice happy yellow and black fabric into a beautiful bag during the month would be a great pick-me-up!
Love that fabric! Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I would LOVE the chance to make that bag out of that adorable fabric!

I was really geeked about this bag as soon as I saw the first post. I can't wait to sew along!
ReplyDeleteI just started following your blog, and it's quickly become one that I look forward to reading. This sounds like a fun idea and I'd love to win!
ReplyDeleteEven though this month's pattern scares me a little, I really want to win!
ReplyDeleteOoooh! Sign me up!! That is such fun fabric and such a great pattern!

ReplyDeleteI would love to make this bag, and love the fabric. Thank you for the opportunity
ReplyDeleteDon't include me in the giveaway please - since I just did the pillows (which I still haven't finished, what a bad guest blogger I am!) but I wanted to say that I'm THRILLED about this project. I've had the wasp bag bookmarked for at least a year - maybe two and have yet to make it. I am also in sever need of a new purse/bag so this is perfect timing - maybe I'll even get it done too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis would be fun! And with January break from school, I'll have the time.
ReplyDeleteC-U-T-E!!! Count me in! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeletePick me, pick me!! I love your fabric choice.
ReplyDeleteThis bag is darling! I would love to give it a try, Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun!! Count me in--we all need a new project to look forward to, especially after the fun of Christmas is over.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super fun homework assignment/giveaway! PS I loooooooooove that fabric, I have the same print in the tan/blue/green color and I made a dress out of the grey and yellow print that goes with it. I love JoAnn's 45" home dec prints.
ReplyDeleteI saw this pattern a couple of days ago and decide that I was going to make one up for myself. This would totally cool to win! I have considered starting a blog, but do not have one as of yet. So, being a guest blogger for someone else would be a nice way to see if I like doing it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric and that bag is fantastic. Already of thinking of some fun options for the handle. I love that the original used a fun belt. Plus, I'd get to write about sewing. Sign me up!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win. The fabric is so pretty. It would keep me motivated to actually finish something in a timely manner.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be part of this awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHere on Cape Cod, it's "hunker in" time, and we even had a white Christmas to start off the long indoor winter ahead. For me, that means -- finally! -- time to sew. That lovely yellow lining fabric is sure to warm up my sewing room, and while I agree that Alison's wasp bag pattern would be great for a diaper bag, I think I'll be dreaming of summer beach days to come...just give me and the Bernina the chance to let 'er rip!
ReplyDeleteBuon natale and buon annu from Cape Cod and
