Cynthia Rowley Knit Dress : Materials

So sorry guys to put you guys off for a couple of days. I got sick at the beginning of the week and have had a couple of crazy days with my baby and just got sidetracked. But I am ready to get going. Usually I try to finish a project a month ahead of posting it, but this month I am going to be sewing right along with you. So let's all go get our materials and we will cut out our fabric tomorrow.

What you will need:

- 1 7/8 yards of 60" knit fabric (most knits are wide like this, but if not just get double the amount of yardage)(also, if you are doing stripes like me get more for matching)
- 12" invisible zipper (even if you don't have an invisible zipper foot I am going to show you how to put one in with a normal zipper foot)
- all purpose thread
- ball point needle
- 1 1/4 yards of lightweight fusible interfacing

see you tomorrow!

Hope you're feeling better now! I've got a three month old, so I understand completely :)

  3. I'm so glad you are going to show us tricks to zippers!!! I just made my first garment with a zipper last week and it wasn't too bad/scary.
